Danica was born and raised in Aspen! Growing up in a household that valued craftsmanship over trends, Danica learned early on that pre-loved items can be both fashionable and meaningful. After 15 years of working for Susan Harvey, she purchased Susie’s at Willits from her.
Danica brought a fresh perspective to Susie’s and a passion for finding hidden gems. She loves sharing the stories behind special finds and helping customers discover pieces that reflect their individual style.
Danica and her staff at Susie’s at Willits personally review all incoming consignment pieces, ensuring they meet rigorous quality standards.

Founded as an additional location of the popular Susie’s Aspen consignment store, Susie’s at Willits has been owned and operated by Valley native Danica Moodie for over a decade, in the proud tradition of Susie’s founder Susan Harvey.
Susie’s at Willits focuses on seasonally appropriate inventory to ensure shoppers the best of now, ready to enjoy.
We accept new and gently-used items and clothing — near mint treasures, in-fashion and in-season. Our inventory focuses on mid- to high-end consignment only, with the exception of our trendy RETRO rack— think vintage 80s.
We accept year-round classics like lightweight cashmere, denim jeans, slacks/pants, and most athletic wear. We do not accept athletic attire out of season — no golf wear in winter!
All consignment is at the discretion of Susie’s staff to ensure the best shopping and sales experience.
We never accept:
Bras, underwear, socks, pajamas, lingerie, appliances, curtains, Chinaware, beds or headboards, damaged items, or incomplete sets.
We take consignments from Tuesdays through Saturdays between 10:30 am to 4 pm.
While no appointment is needed, we recommend calling before you come in to ensure adequate time for the consignment review.
From time to time, we may be overloaded and have to stop taking consignments that day. Call ahead to be sure we will be able to help!
Most items are kept for 45 days total. 30 days at full price, then discounted for the last 15 days to encourage product sales.
Unsold treasures are shared with community nonprofits, ensuring they continue to bring value and joy.
